Warrington man’s 10K run raises nearly $6K to honor memory of friends

Tony DiBrino, of Warrington, ran 10 miles along the beach in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, to raise funds for For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, a nonprofit based in Plymouth Meeting.

DiBrino, who ran in August as part of Team FPS in the annual “Captain Bill Gallagher 10-Mile Island Run,” helped raise almost $6,000.

He runs each year in memory of Gino Francescangeli, a friend who died of cancer at age 62 in January 2015. Read more in the Courier Times here.  Thank you to the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol for including Team FPS in this run every year, and for helping us reach our fundraising goal!
