FPS Welcomes Esteemed Guest Speaker to Gala on 2.3.24
For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation is excited to announce that we will welcome esteemed guest speaker and Respite Recipient Jen Coleman at our FPS Gala on February 3, 2024. Jen will share her heartwarming story of her cancer journey, Respite Experience, and its impact on her life. Jen’s story has garnered attention with features in People Magazine and appearances on 6 ABC Action News in Philadelphia. She is a nurse at Jefferson Health and went on respite with her family at Woodloch Resort in October 2023.
The FPS Gala will open its doors at 6:30 PM at the elegant Vie at Cescaphe in Philadelphia. This special evening is dedicated to raising funds to support Respite Experiences for families facing cancer. The night will feature a gourmet seated dinner, fine beverages, a thrilling auction, and a program highlighting the impact of respite where we will honor valued members of our FPS Community. ASTM International will receive the Philanthropy Award, and Carol S. Blecher, MS, RN, APNC, AOCN, CBCN, a nurse from Alliance Cancer Specialists at Bensalem and Aly Rice, MSW, LCSW, a social worker affiliated with Cancer Support Community and Alliance Cancer Specialists at Doylestown Health and Grand View Health with the Gratitude Award. After the program and dinner, there will be dancing to the music of a live band, Deja Blue.
