Join us for some fun in the sun this summer! We are hosting our monthly Traveler Engagement Event at the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ!
Experience the Jersey Shore at the place that was near and dear to FPS visionary Peter R. Bossow, Jr.
Many wonderful memories were created for Pete and Marci during the summers they spent in SIC enjoying family, friends and the beach. The beauty of the ocean, before and after Pete’s cancer diagnosis, brought both of them peace and solace. In their younger years, Pete was a member of SIC Beach Patrol and Marci worked at her family’s SIC business, Maryanne Pastry Shoppe. Sea Isle City remains a very important part of Marci’s life as she, her husband Mark and their two beautiful daughters still spend their summer in SIC making lasting memories!
On Wednesday, August 1st (rain date Wednesday, August 8th) we will be meeting at Marci’s SIC home anytime between 10am – 11am to gather and enjoy delicious pastries from Maryanne Pasty Shoppe prior to heading to the beach. Around 11:15 am we will head off to the beach to enjoy some quality time with our FPS Traveler friends and staff members. We will be providing beverages, snacks and lunch for the group. Just bring your beach chair/blankets, beach umbrellas, towels, sand toys, water toys, sunscreen, sun protection, bathing suits and anything else you might need to make the day fun for you.
Access to the beach is free on Wednesday so beach tags are not necessary.
Our Traveler Engagement events are free to our Travelers, and children of all ages are welcome!
