It was a chance meeting at a CEO networking event in 2000 that set a chain reaction that would change countless lives.
Marci Schankweiler, who was recently widowed, decided to attend the event in hopes of learning more about running a successful charity.
She was greeted by local CEO, Pat Bello, who was intrigued by Marci’s grit, tenacity and charisma. “Right then and there, Marci asked if she could meet with me and learn how to be a CEO.
