For Pete’s Sake and Dunkin’ of Greater Philadelphia Honor Orefield Student as she Raises Over $1,000 from Fundraiser “Whiptastic Sugar Scrubs” to Help Local Charity
FPS and Dunkin’ teamed up to celebrate FPS traveler, Helena, with an afternoon break complete with Dunkin’ Munchkins® Donut Hole Treats and coffee!
In 2019, Helena and the Mercatili family lost their father, Steve Mercatili, to cancer. Since then, Helena and her brother Peter have made it their mission to give back to the charities that supported their family during their father’s battle with cancer.
FPS holds a special place in Helena and her family’s life. In 2017, FPS provided Helena, Steve, Helena’s mother, Peggy, and Helena’s brother, Peter, with a respite experience where the family enjoyed a trip to Disney World and created lasting memories that will comfort them for the years to come.
Recently, Helena raised over $1,000 from her Blueberry Whiptastic Sugar Scrub Etsy store sale and donated the proceeds to help more families take a break from cancer. We’re so proud of you, Helena!
