Glanzmann Subaru Partners with FPS on Share the Love Event for 13th Year
For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation (FPS) is excited to partner with Glanzmann Subaru on the Subaru Share the Love Event for our 13th year!
Nationally, the Share the Love campaign is in its 18th year and has raised more than $320 million for charities across the country. The Share the Love Event allows Subaru retailers to direct $250 of every new Subaru sold to go towards a charity of choice, and for the past twelve years, Glanzmann Subaru has featured For Pete’s Sake as their local charity! Over that time the Share the Love event has raised more than $662,000 for the FPS mission, helping provide Respite Experiences for vulnerable cancer patients, caregivers and children.
This year we are honored that Glanzmann Subaru will be donating $325 from every vehicle sold to FPS from November 20th through January 2nd. Glanzmann Subaru is going above and beyond again, in both donations and support because the work FPS does is so important. One of our recent Respite Recipients Christina summed up why the chance to take a break was necessary: “There isn’t a lot of silliness and fun when you’re dealing with cancer. Respite gave us the chance to step away from our everyday reality and have some comfort. My kids found joy again, and I was reminded we’re not alone.”

That’s something really special that’s being provided to families. That’s why we’re excited to partner again and proud of the support we’ve been able to provide over the last twelve years.”

For Pete’s Sake Respite Experiences are proven to help cancer patients and their loved ones improve family hardiness, coping ability, communication, and joviality, and the donations from the Share the Love event will be used to fund FPS Respites at Woodloch Resort, FPS Staycation Respite Experiences, and Respite Reinforced experiences supporting cancer patients beyond the respite as their journey with cancer continues.
