Join us on Sunday, September 22, 2019 for the inaugural La Salle Alumni Row Event held at Boat House Row in Philadelphia, PA. The Row will be La Salle Crew alumni vs. the current La Salle Varsity Crew team. Tickets will be available to purchase for seats in launch boats if you do not want to row, but still want to be out on the water.
This event is in honor of For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation (FPS) Founder and legacy, Peter R. Bossow Jr. who was a member of the La Salle College High School Crew Team and graduated in 1986. He was a dedicated member of the team and made long lasting friendships while he rowed. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Pete’s passing, La Salle College High School’s crew team and For Pete’s Sake are teaming up to honor Pete and raise money to allow more families to take a break from cancer.
For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation (FPS) is a local non-profit located in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The FPS mission is to enable cancer patients and their loved ones to strengthen, deepen, and unify their relationships by creating unforgettable and lasting respite vacations. This year, For Pete’s Sake hopes to send 190 families facing cancer on respite vacations. Through this gift of time together, they will create memorable moments, experience immeasurable joy and find emotional healing, hope and happiness.
Whether the years have been many or just a few, here’s a chance to get back on the Schuylkill River with old friends and teammates. Don’t Miss the Boat!

Registration Details:
Alumni Row Tickets are for La Salle College High School Alumni Crew team members who are planning to participate in the race.
A spectator only ticket will gain you access to the grand stand, and will provide a boxed lunch during the race.
A launch boat ticket will gain alumni crew members access to be on the water in a launch boat during the race. This option is for alumni who do not want to participate in the race, but would still like to be out on the water.
The brunch will be held after the boat race and is for Alumni only.
