Walk Details 2023!
Thank you for your generous support to ensure Families Facing Cancer Never Walk Alone.
We are so thrilled to walk with you on Sunday at Citizen’s Bank Park! Thanks for your hard work as you fundraised to help give families a break from cancer.
Please keep in mind our Walk is rain or shine! In the event of rain, we will walk the warning track and take dugout photos, however, the bases would no longer be available to round per the Phillies’ guidelines.
While we hope for clear skies, we do want to prepare for the possibility of rain, so please come prepared with appropriate rain gear and anticipate that there might be some changes in programming. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all!
Event Details & Timeline:
4:00 PM: Check-in begins outside First Base Gate. The parking lot opens at 3 PM. Please park in LOT P. Check-in at 4 to enjoy all activites before you walk! Click here to read more.
4:30 PM: Meet and Mingle with Mickey Morandini. Walkers can take photos with 1993 NL Champion and Philadelphia Phillies Ambassador, Mickey Morandini.
5:00 PM: Opening ceremonies. Walkers will be seated in the stadium and welcomed by our Founder & CEO, Marci Schankweiler. Our top 3 teams will dance with the Phanatic on the dugout to kick off the walk!
5:30 PM: Walk begins. Receive fun giveaways and special treats as you complete your laps! After two laps on the concourse, we will open access to the field for a lap around the warning track and capture a keepsake photo in the dugout. If weather permits, we will open access to take a trip around the bases to complete the experience.
Registration Information:
Upon arrival, please check-in at the registration area. If you earned a t-shirt, you will also pick up your t-shirt at check-in. As a reminder, only those who raised $50 or more by April 17th will be guaranteed their t-shirts at the walk. If you earned other incentive items, they will be mailed to you after the walk.
Online registration closes on 4.28.23 at NOON. Please encourage friends/family to register online. We will accept day-of registration via cash, check and credit card.
Fundraising Incentives:
If your team has earned special incentives, your Team Captain has been contacted and information has been shared with them about the Locker Room and Batting Cage Tours.
Personal fundraising incentives will be mailed to all fundraisers after the walk.
Parking Information:
FREE parking is available in Lot P, off Darien Street. Click here for a map. Once you park, please enter at the First Base Gate entrance. Volunteers will be wearing white shirts – look for our volunteers if you have any questions! Stroller parking is available on the concourse at Sections 111 and 112.
Walk Activities
Play friendly games of Cornhole before the walk begins and learn more about our mobile tournament, Cornhole for Cancer.
Stop by our Mission Tent to write a note to a family about to go on respite and sign our commemorative walk banner and celebrate your loved ones that you are walking in support of this year!
Enjoy visits from the Phillie Phanatic, Star Wars Characters and Princesses!

We are excited to welcome Haddonfield Memorial High School’s Choir to sing the National Anthem, and bands Good Chemistry and Super Sonic Godfathers to perform along the walk route!
Dugout Pictures
Both dugouts will be used for photos and will have the same backdrop. Please be reminded that as you round Third base, be sure to have your ENTIRE party ready to go into the dugout for the picture. If your team registered by April 25th, a team sign is available to hold in your photo.
If your party is not ready by the time you are at third base, you will be asked to step aside until your entire party is gathered.
