#GivingTuesday 2022: One Person Can Impact the Lives of Thousands
Join us on November 29 and share the mission of For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation on #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving. Each year, the success of this one day giving campaign is dependent upon our mission ambassadors like you.
Each of us can impact our communities. FPS began as the vision of one person. Pete Bossow, Jr. wanted other young cancer patients to experience respite as he did. Twenty-three years later, FPS has served our 10,000th person through respite. Because of one man, thousands upon thousands of cancer patients and their families have been able to heal, recharge and bond during their cancer journeys.
You, too, have the power to help our FPS families. By supporting us through a #GivingTuesday campaign, you are raising critical funds to provide respite experiences for our cancer patients and their families. You are also sharing the mission of FPS within your friends and family.
Here are the ways you can help!
- Select FPS as your charity of choice on #GivingTuesday and set a fundraising goal to support a family facing cancer with the healing gift of respite.
- Visit https://give.takeabreakfromcancer.org/GT2022 and select “Become a Fundraiser.” You will be able to create a customized fundraising page to support your efforts.
- Make phone calls and send emails to your colleagues, friends and family asking them to support your Giving Tuesday fundraising efforts.
- Share the link to your page on Social Media.
Donations made through our Giving Tuesday campaign will be matched by the Gene Haas Foundation up to $15,000.
FPS has been awarded a perfect score by Charity Navigator, a feat accomplished by less than one-tenth of one percent of charities! As the end of 2023 approaches, we encourage you to make your gift by December 31!
