Emmanuel was able to
put family first

“”It meant a lot to me.
I appreciate everything”.

Our Cancer Journey

Emmanuel was working full time at USPS as a mail carrier when he received the shocking news  in January 2021 that he had acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He’s only 28 years old and the diagnosis turned his family’s life upside down.

Emmanuel and his wife have two small children. They had just purchased their first home. And then this news hit.

“You don’t expect these things to happen so young,” Emmanuel shared.

The family has been juggling so many things, but through faith and family, they are pulling through.

“This respite will give us time away from reality and let us focus on the thing that really matters – family,” Emmanuel said.
