The Lahetta Family Hosts their Annual Cancer Color Race

“Carl and Suzanne Lahetta took their family of four children on a vacation to Disney World in 2016, just like thousands of other families around the country. Unlike most other families, though, their return to reality came near the end of the trip when they received the message from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania that Carl’s chemotherapy drugs had arrived.

The Lahetta family had been awarded a vacation from For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation. Carl was battling pancreatic cancer, and the vacation offered the family the chance to take a break and just relax in one another’s company while he was still physically able to enjoy the experience…”
